Game Objective
To win, the player needs to eliminate enemy drones before attacking the bunker.​
Gameplay Phases
Setup Phase
-
Player and AI bunkers spawn at opposite map edges (or randomly along the edge).

Each side spawns 3–5 drones in random positions.
-
Their Bunker is invulnerable until their drones are eliminated.

Turn-Based Phase
-
Player and AI alternate turns:
Control the main cannon to attack or scan.
Move or fire (if a target is in range) with one drone per turn.

Drones are found by:
Using a flare shell to reveal map sections.
Proximity: drones detect each other when in range.

Final Bunker Attack

After all drones on a team are destroyed, that team's bunker becomes targetable.

The opponent can then attack the exposed bunker directly.

Technical Structure
Bunker System

Fixed structures are placed at field edges, each with a cannon and a "Map Computer" UI for the Player ONLY

Cannon has three projectile choices with limited ammo:
> High Explosive
> Cluster
> Flare

Drone System
-
Each team receives (n) drones at random valid locations.

Drones have a small detection radius and can move or attack during their turn

Turn Manager
-
Manages phases in this order:
> Player Cannon Turn
> Player Drone Turn
> AI Cannon Turn
> AI Drone Turn
Current State

This is the current state of the project. The player is able to switch between each screen inside their bunker and a quick glimpse of the current turn base mechanic
Drone Editing Test

This clip is showing editing the drone's weapon range without needing to touch the value in the inspector. Which is done through an editor script for both the Player and AI Drone Controllers for testing

Cluster Projectile Test

In this clip I was testing out the cluster projectile "burst" feature, from a short range to long range. When it reaches its highest point it will burst into smaller clusters dealing X amount of damage.
